Are you passionate about bringing the curriculum alive?

If this sounds like you, then why not come and work at Hillborough Infant School?

The Governing Board of Hillborough Infant and Nursery School is seeking to appoint an inspired educator to be a key contributor in the continued development of our school. We are seeking applications from successful Key Stage One teachers and we will also consider applications from those with experience of teaching – or who have trained to teach – in lower Key Stage Two.

Candidates will be confident and passionate teachers and people who demonstrate high expectations, a flexible and resilient attitude to challenge and a commitment to providing the highest quality learning opportunities which support the education of the whole child.

Hillborough Infant School provides an education to 3 to 7 years olds in the south of Luton, close to the town centre. We are an oversubscribed and successful three form entry infant school admitting 90 pupils per year. We are well-resourced and keep children at the centre of everything we do. Our pupils are extremely keen to learn and participate and we teach a rich and challenging curriculum.

We are looking for an inspirational Key Stage One class teacher who can deliver the very best education to our pupils by ensuring they are supported, engaged and inspired throughout their learning journey. You will promote a positive attitude to learning and ensure that our pupils’ well-being is paramount. The successful candidate will support the ethos, aims and vision of the school.

We can offer an excellent package of training, coaching and mentoring which is tailored to supporting your individual skill set and career progression. You will receive support from an experienced senior leadership team who are committed to the well-being and work life balance of all staff.

We enjoy planning as a team and bringing purposeful experiences into our classrooms. We have fun sharing our learning journeys with our families at the end of each term through our school WOWs.
