Assistant Headteacher

The Governing Body of Hillborough Infant and Nursery School is seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to start in January 2022 or earlier.  The school is embarking on a new and exciting chapter and is in a position to appoint a new leader with an opportunity for further career progression.


Hillborough Infant School provides an education to 3 to 7 year olds in the south of Luton, close to the town centre. We are an oversubscribed and successful three form entry infant school admitting 90 pupils per year. We are well-resourced and keep children at the centre of everything we do.

Visits to the school are encouraged and the following dates are available:

  • Wednesday 14th July 2021 between 3.45 – 4.30 p.m.
  • Wednesday 8th September 2021 between 3.45 – 4.30 p.m.
  • Wednesday 15th September 2021 between 3.45 – 4.30 p.m.

  • Closing date: Sunday 19th September 2021
  • Shortlisting date: Tuesday 21st September 2021
  • Interview date: Monday 27th September 2021
